Born in Daegu, South Korea 1956, Won-Kon Yi is an artist, critic and independent curator. Yi holds an MFA from Seoul National University & Tsukuba University (Japan) and is an Associate Professor of Dankook University(South Korea). Yi is a Member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the international journal technoetic arts (edited by Roy Ascott) and curates for VideoChannel.
