Research Initiative, 2009-2010

In 2009 and continuing into 2010, MAAP will undertake significant research towards a series of commissioned writings documenting key elements and histories of media art activity in Asia, Australia and the Pacific.

While some emphasis will duly be placed on knowledge-generation from MAAP's own project history and existing collaborative networks, MAAP will also be working with new writers, researchers and artists with strong research links to the region’s media art activity, as well as scholars specialising in the documentation of media art histories more broadly.
